Whaea Alleena

Kia Ora whanau,

I just wanted to take the time to introduce myself to all of you and let you know about some basic routines in Room 9.

My name is Alleena Steward and this is my second year teaching at Rongomai School. I have been blessed this year with teaching Year 1 and 2 students.

I live in Takanini with my two AWESOME tamariki Kaeleen and Ethyn. Kaeleen is Year 11 attending Auckland Girls Grammar and Ethyn is Year 10 at Alfriston College.

I have one niece and two nephews and have another two nephews that'll bless this earth in June (I'm super excited).

I enjoy reading and spending time with my whanau. My personal goal this year is to try and live a healthier lifestyle which means eat less takeaways and be more active in my spare time.

A few reminders ...

For Term 1 and 4 hats during break times are compulsory, so please make sure your child has a hat for the day.

School starts at 8.45 in the mornings. It is unsettling to your child and the class if they arrive late. As a whole school we are working really hard at arriving on time and being ready for our day of learning.

Please feel free to pop in and see me before and after school or alternatively email me

Nga mihi
Whaea Alleena
